An excellent article, I must say. But you have mentioned Yoga can be a part of low impact exercise.
I would say Yoga should be a part of all kinds of workouts be it running, strength training, gymnastics, zumba or any other.
I have added it to rather I have added various exercises to Yoga which has been my routine for last 19 years. I started with Pranayama and Yoga and still do it every single day.
I added to it over the years workouts like running, HIIT, Strength Training.
It is such a balancing act for every kind of workout. I call Yoga the mother of all workouts.
